The role
A multi-trade carpenter is required in Yate to undertake diverse repair and maintenance tasks in mainly commercial settings. The role involves first and second fix carpentry, installing windows, doors, and UPVC, as well as locksmithing, roofing, fencing, and minor joinery. Applicants should have at least three years' carpentry experience, an NVQ Level 2 qualification, and a full UK driving licence; additional skills such as own tools and wider trades experience are beneficial. The position offers a full-time permanent contract with a competitive salary, company van, fuel card, paid holidays, and overtime. The work includes on-call duties, some weekend and night shifts at enhanced rates, with funded training and benefits to support professional development.
