The role
Lead the development and implementation of the US firm’s data governance, risk, and compliance program, ensuring alignment with applicable laws and regulations.
Cultivate and sustain relationships with executive stakeholders and cross-functional leaders to drive governance initiatives.
Oversee data protection activities, incident response, root cause analysis, and risk mitigation across data stewardship teams.
Develop and maintain policies and procedures, oversee Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), Records of Processing Activities (ROPA), and lifecycle tracking.
Provide advisory guidance on governance best practices, regulatory changes, and AI governance to balance business enablement with protection.
Coordinate with General Counsel and privacy groups to ensure awareness, training, and consistent risk management across the organization.
