The role
Design, develop, and maintain automated UI tests using UFT for Excel-based add-ins.
Build modular, data-driven UFT frameworks and robust Object Repositories with VBScript and descriptive programming.
Validate complex Excel UI workflows, formulas, and ribbon commands; write SQL queries for test data.
Integrate UFT test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo, GitHub Actions) and apply AI-assisted testing techniques.
Execute automated test runs across environments, log and track defects in JIRA, and produce test plans, cases, and summary reports.
Mentor junior QA teammates, continuously enhance the automation framework for reliability and performance in a fast-paced environment.
