The role
A Paediatric Physiotherapist is sought to work within the paediatric therapy services, providing specialised assessment and treatment to children aged 0-19 years. The role involves working with preschool and school-aged children with neurodevelopmental and developmental coordination disorders, alongside acute paediatric physiotherapy duties on hospital wards. The post-holder will participate in weekend, on-call, and twilight shifts, with training provided in respiratory and musculoskeletal assessment. They will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including education and local authority departments, and deliver training to colleagues and educational staff. The role requires travel across teaching hospital sites, including home visits and school visits as clinically necessary. Strong communication, teamworking skills, and a valid driver's licence are essential for this position.
