The role
Lead teacher for Kindergarten through 4th grade in a rigorous, equity-focused program.
Teach across subjects with a strong emphasis on literacy instruction to build foundational skills and a love of learning.
Create a classroom culture that nurtures academic progress, social-emotional development, and cross-disciplinary exploration (Arts, Athletics, Academics).
Build deep relationships with a diverse student cohort, tailor instruction to individual learning needs, and assess progress with multiple measures.
Collaborate with a team of master teachers, participate in ongoing professional development, and contribute to school-wide equity goals.
Requirements include a minimum of 2 years of lead teaching in K–4, strong communication, curriculum adaptation, and a demonstrated path to teaching certification if not yet certified.
