The role
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Level 4) focused on turbomachinery and propulsion hardware for advanced liquid rocket engines.
Onsite role in Los Angeles supporting cross-functional teams to meet performance, cost, and producibility goals.
Design and develop turbomachinery components and assemblies; create 3D CAD models and detailed drawings; perform tolerance analyses and trade studies.
Adhere to ASME Y14.5 and Y14.100, participate in design reviews, and manage CAD files through the design release process.
Provide production and supplier support, resolve nonconforming hardware, and contribute to technical documentation and close-out presentations.
Eligibility includes U.S. citizenship and potential for security clearance; 2+ years of related experience; CREO/Windchill experience preferred.
