The role
A 1st and 2nd fix carpenter is responsible for constructing and installing various carpentry components on residential and commercial sites in Wolverhampton. They interpret technical drawings and plans to execute precise installations of doors, staircases, flooring, and structural timber work. The role requires effective use of hand and power tools while adhering to health and safety standards. Carpenters work independently or as part of a team, maintaining a high standard of workmanship and organisation at worksites. Flexibility to travel to local and non-local project locations is essential, supported by a valid UK driving licence. Reliable experience and good physical fitness are necessary to perform on diverse site conditions.
