The role
Based in Chicago, advise on structured finance transactions including ABS, RMBS, CMBS, CLOs, and whole business securitizations.
Draft and negotiate offering documents, transaction documents, and related legal opinions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design innovative deal structures across traditional and emerging asset classes.
Navigate regulatory frameworks (SEC, risk retention, Volcker Rule) in domestic and cross-border transactions.
Engage with institutional lenders, issuers, underwriters, investors, and rating agencies to deliver bespoke financing solutions.
Qualifications: J.D. from a top law school, 2+ years' experience in structured finance, and active bar admission (NY/CA preferred).
