The role
The Operations Manager in Derby is responsible for the daily performance of nurseries and supporting Nursery Managers in leadership and operational tasks. They build strong relationships with managers, fostering their development and confidence while maintaining high standards of safeguarding, quality, and compliance. The role requires monitoring occupancy, performance data, and making improvements to support sustainable growth. They help create positive team cultures, coordinate activities with central teams, and support new nursery openings. The candidate must possess significant multi-site leadership experience in early years, a strong understanding of EYFS and Ofsted requirements, and excellent communication skills. This position involves regular travel between settings and a commitment to fostering exceptional environments for children and staff.
