The role
A top 100 UK law firm specialising in housing and real estate is seeking a managing associate solicitor to join their housebuilding team in Newcastle. The role involves managing site acquisitions, land assembly, and disposals for a variety of clients, including full due diligence and transactional documentation. The candidate will oversee the acquisition-to-sale process, supervise junior staff, and contribute to business development activities and external profiling. Maintaining current knowledge of housing legislation and case law is essential, along with supporting firm clients and projects. The position requires at least six years of PQE with experience in housebuilder site acquisition and development work. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to handle demanding caseloads within tight deadlines are vital.
