The role
Lead electrician responsible for directing the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment and systems in shipyard environments.
Determine placement of electrical distribution panels and key equipment, ensuring proper configuration and safety.
Diagnose faults in generators, switchboards, and control systems; perform rework or component replacement as needed.
Operate power and hand tools to cut, bend, fit, and thread components; use test equipment to verify electrical characteristics.
Supervise a crew, coordinate tasks, and enforce safety, quality, and security/compliance requirements.
Travel to CONUS/OCONUS sites and work flexible hours to meet mission needs.
