The role
Lead science solution design and experiments to advance NLP and CV capabilities for sensitive content detection and mitigation in Alexa+.
Serve as a tech lead for a team of scientists, driving novel algorithms, experimentation, and scalable deployment.
Collaborate with engineers, PMs, data annotators, and other stakeholders to ensure data quality, policy alignment, and robust model development.
Mentor peers, review work, shape the team's roadmap, and foster strong scientific standards and best practices.
Deliver responsible AI solutions that minimize negative content experiences and build customer trust across languages and markets.
Operate in a fast-paced, hybrid environment, balancing research depth with tangible product impact and cross-team delivery.
