The role
A shuttering carpenter constructs, installs and dismantles timber and proprietary formwork systems for concrete structures in Southampton. They ensure formwork is properly aligned and secured before pouring concrete, working efficiently and maintaining high-quality standards. Occupants collaborate with site managers and other trades to meet project deadlines and safety requirements. Candidates should possess proven experience in shuttering carpentry and hold a valid CSCS Card. The role involves working primarily on construction sites, applying technical carpentry skills and safety practices. Candidates should be familiar with different formwork methods and instruments, and able to operate safely within a dynamic construction environment.
