The role
The Apprentice Teacher role provides hands-on classroom experience for individuals with limited teaching background to explore education.
Observe Master Teachers, co-teach with teacher-leaders, and provide substitute coverage as needed.
Support students daily through one-on-one tutoring, small-group intervention, and occasional direct instruction of your own class.
Participate in ongoing professional development, coaching sessions, and regular feedback to sharpen instructional skills.
Assist with Enrichment classes, organize student events, and build mentoring relationships within the school community.
By year-end, you will be prepared to apply for full-time teaching roles with a solid foundation in curriculum, assessment, and classroom management.
