The role
This role supports a biotechnology-focused intellectual property practice by handling patent-related matters for life sciences innovations.
Responsibilities include interviewing inventors to capture invention disclosures, drafting patent applications, and managing prosecution before the USPTO.
You will prepare non-infringement and invalidity opinions, and provide technical support for patent litigation.
Under senior supervision, you will counsel clients on IP strategy, freedom-to-operate analyses, and risk management.
Applicants should have a minimum of three years of life sciences patent experience and must be admitted to practice before the USPTO.
A master's or doctoral degree in biotechnology, molecular biology, or a related field is required, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
