The role

A test engineer is required to assess data pipelines and large-scale data solutions using AWS technologies in a government data programme in Newcastle. The role involves testing and validating data workflows, working closely with data engineers to ensure output accuracy from Spark processing, Airflow orchestration, and AWS data lake components. Candidates should have expertise in Apache Airflow, Jupyter Notebooks, Amazon Athena, and GitLab. Familiarity with AWS services such as CloudWatch, IAM, S3, and others is essential. Previous experience in the public sector and SC clearance are highly desirable for this position.
