The role
The role involves completing online and practical training to acquire industry-recognised certifications such as CompTIA A+ and progressing into an IT Technician role. Candidates should be prepared to gain hands-on experience using cutting-edge technology and pass official exams. The programme includes practical, online, and on-the-job training, culminating in employment as an IT Technician with a salary of £24K-£30K. After gaining two years of experience, participants can move into a network engineer role with a starting salary of £45K. All participants are guaranteed a job placement upon successful completion of the training.
