The role
As a Sr Lead Software Engineer on the Digital Utilities team, you will drive the design, development, and secure delivery of high-throughput data-access capabilities in a scalable, resilient platform.
You will implement production-grade Java applications using Spring, lead architectural discussions, and review solutions across distributed systems.
You will champion modern SDLC practices (TDD, CI/CD, continuous deployment) and drive automation to improve reliability and operational stability.
You will design reusable services, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and influence stakeholder decisions to meet ambitious business goals.
You will work with data producers to ingest and reconcile customer interaction data, enabling low-latency experiences for millions of users.
You will leverage cloud-native platforms (AWS, Cloud Foundry), Kubernetes, Kafka, NoSQL databases like Cassandra, and observability tools to monitor and optimize performance.
