The role
Design, build, and manage scalable cloud-based data infrastructure for processing, storing, and analyzing large-scale scientific data.
Develop and maintain data ingestion, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data migration to support growing mission data volumes.
Create cloud data services for catalog data exploration, storage, governance, and data quality.
Implement hybrid environments combining legacy and active mission data with robust backup and recovery capabilities.
Leverage big data tools (e.g., Spark), SQL databases, and lakehouse architectures to enable efficient data access and exploration.
Collaborate across data science, catalog, and operations teams to deliver reliable, mission-critical data solutions.
