The role
As a Robot Optics Intern, you will design, simulate, and calibrate optical imaging and optomechanical systems used in robotic surgeries.
You will test and maintain vision subsystems, perform precision alignment, and troubleshoot optical subassemblies.
You will test optics consumables and develop image acquisition and processing software.
You will conduct exploratory evaluations of new imaging technologies and contribute to process improvements through collaboration.
You will prepare documentation and SOPs to standardize robot optics workflows.
This role requires hands-on lab work, a solid foundation in optics, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-disciplinary environment.
