The role
Onsite General Construction role supporting electrical operations, trenching, and equipment handling across the service territory.
Responsibilities include digging trenches, loading/unloading materials, pulling cable, and using hand and power tools under the direction of journeymen and supervisors.
Collaborate with journeyman electricians, station mechanics, carpenters, and welders to perform construction and maintenance tasks.
Work environments include remote locations, elevated heights, confined spaces, and areas around water, with exposure to natural hazards.
Must be physically fit to lift up to 50 pounds, work in varying weather, and travel across the service territory as needed.
Adhere to safety standards and PPE requirements, and maintain housekeeping and safe operation of tools and equipment.
