The role
Provide strategic legal counsel and guidance to the organization and its subsidiaries across multiple business units.
Advise on compliance with federal, state, and local commercial regulations and ensure lawful operation of the business.
Monitor existing and new regulations, analyze proposed rulemakings, and prepare actionable comments.
Assess and determine appropriate settlement versus litigation and support negotiation efforts.
Perform legal/technical reviews, including environmental law matters (RCRA, CERCLA) and related data analysis, with SMEs and leadership.
Demonstrate strong research, writing, communication, and leadership skills in a collaborative, hybrid work setting.
