Clinical/Counselling Psychologist/Psychological Therapist

A qualified and HCPC-registered psychologist or psychological therapist is sought to deliver evidence-based assessments and interventions for children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties. The role involves collaborating with multi-agency teams, developing treatment plans, and acting as Lead Professional where appropriate to ensure effective care allocation. Candidates should possess strong assessment and therapeutic skills, along with experience in multi-disciplinary environments and delivering person-centred care. The position requires managing a varied caseload, contributing to service improvement, and maintaining accurate clinical records in a multidisciplinary setting. Expertise in diverse psychological interventions and knowledge of relevant legislation will support effective service delivery and teamwork. Exceptional communication skills are essential to engage with families, colleagues, and external agencies effectively.
