The role
Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and time requirements.
Review blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to determine quantities and costs.
Participate in preconstruction activities, including meetings with clients, architects, and engineers to confirm project scope.
Conduct site visits and gather data to support estimation; perform accurate quantity takeoffs.
Prepare and submit competitive bidding proposals, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
Monitor estimation data, analyze variances, and stay current with industry trends to improve accuracy and win rates.
