The role
A womenswear print and graphic designer is responsible for creating original print, graphic, and placement designs that resonate with seasonal trends and brand identity. They develop diverse concepts including all-over prints, engineered designs, embroidery, slogans, and typography, utilizing industry-standard software. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams such as design, garment technology, and product development, as well as liaising with suppliers for artwork development and sample approval. Candidates must have a relevant degree and proven experience within a fashion retail or supplier environment, along with expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite and print techniques. A strong understanding of market trends, colour theory, and technical garment knowledge is essential. They must manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively within a fast-paced fashion setting.
