The role
The position involves developing production-grade AI and machine learning applications in a financial services environment. The engineer will collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to transition experimental models into live, scalable solutions incorporating cloud platforms, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines. Candidates should have extensive Python expertise, experience with cloud services like Vertex AI and BigQuery, and familiarity with MLOps frameworks such as Kubeflow Pipelines. The role requires strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, Kubernetes, and distributed systems, with additional preference given to experience in Generative AI and Large Language Models. The work involves influencing technical standards, ensuring security and compliance, and supporting continuous improvement efforts within the team.
