The role
The Club Journalist is responsible for creating engaging content across all club platforms, including press releases, interviews, and digital media, to tell the story of the club and enhance supporter engagement. They will attend fixtures, liaise with staff for team news, and support media relations, including press conferences and crisis communication. The role involves crafting copy for online and offline channels, filming short videos, and supporting narrative development around the club's history and community initiatives. The candidate must have proven experience in sports journalism or media, excellent editing skills, and a strong understanding of Scottish football. Flexibility to travel and experience with digital analytics and CMS platforms are essential. This dynamic position demands excellent communication, storytelling, and organisational skills to contribute to the club's media and brand objectives.
