The role
A Cloud Engineer in Manchester works with clients to design and implement AWS cloud architectures supporting their migration and cloud adoption strategies. They elicit customer requirements for cloud-native environments, develop patterns, and validate migration solutions. The role involves defining AWS architecture standards, reviewing technical implementations, and promoting automation through infrastructure as code. Candidates will support engineering teams, troubleshoot issues, and optimise deployment patterns, ensuring scalable and secure cloud solutions. Strong technical, communication, and collaborative skills are required, with experience in AWS services, DevOps tools, and agile practices. Knowledge of security concepts, stakeholder management, and additional certifications are desirable.
