The role
This DevOps Engineer Level II role focuses on Salesforce platform CI/CD, designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable pipelines across multi-tenant environments.
Automate deployment workflows, enforce governance through CoE integration, and manage sandbox refreshes and data seeding processes.
Lead environments, sandboxes, and version control strategies (Git, branching) while automating deployment approvals and rollback workflows.
Integrate automated unit and regression testing into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with QA and Solution Architects on reusable testing frameworks.
Implement monitoring and alerting (Salesforce Shield) and track release metrics such as defect rates, success/failure ratios, and deployment durations.
Provide training, release readiness checklists, and mentor new DevOps engineers during CoE scaling, with 50% on-site work in Albany, NY or New York City, NY.
