The role
An opportunity exists for an environmental trials and analysis engineer in Stevenage, working within an integrated team on land, sea and air weapons systems. The role involves providing technical expertise for all product lifecycle phases, including requirements management, data analysis, simulation, and testing across various environmental conditions. Responsibilities include delivering technical evaluations, developing test specifications, and contributing to process improvements, with a focus on vibration, shock, and thermal analysis. Candidates require a strong technical background in environmental or mechanical fields, excellent investigative skills, and experience in complex environment analysis. Instrumentation, signal processing, and experience with vibration and shock testing are desirable.
