The role
Lead HVAC Engineer serving as the Technical Authority for a landmark $5B nuclear construction project in Oak Ridge, TN.
Act as Owner's Representative, owning confinement and safety-critical HVAC systems and holding the EPC partner accountable for design integrity.
Serve as internal SME on HVAC codes, standards, radiological air cleaning, and gaseous effluence systems.
Own the design and review of confinement and radiological air handling, ensuring owner-side compliance across engineering packages.
Review and approve EPC packages to verify conformance with safety, regulatory, and project requirements.
Requirements include a BS in Mechanical Engineering (PE preferred), 7–12 years in industrial or nuclear facilities, eligible for Q-Clearance, on-site 5 days/week, and relocation provided.
