The role
Contract Software Engineer focusing on data migration and cloud engineering to modernize an enterprise data platform.
Lead migration from Teradata to Google BigQuery, designing, building, testing, and optimizing cloud-based data solutions.
Analyze complex data pipelines and ETL workloads, applying software engineering best practices and security considerations.
Participate in planning and design reviews; evaluate options and ensure compliance with governance and security standards.
Communicate progress and technical concepts to stakeholders across the organization; escalate and resolve issues with cross-functional partners.
Required: 7+ years of software engineering, 7+ years with Teradata, 5+ years ETL Ab Initio, 5+ years SQL, 3+ years cloud experience, 3+ years Google BigQuery; Spark and Python a plus; Agile and DevOps experience.
