The role
A Chemical Engineer with expertise in process safety is sought to support plant development and compliance activities in a high-hazard manufacturing setting. The role involves applying technical knowledge of complex chemical processes, ensuring safety assurance, risk management, and operational excellence. Collaboration with engineering, operations, and HSE teams is essential to meet safety standards and optimise processes. The successful candidate will lead hazard studies such as HAZOP and LOPA, develop safety management systems, and contribute to plant design and modification activities. Knowledge of UK regulations like COMAH and DSEAR, along with strong problem-solving skills, are required.
