The role
Seeking a Data Analyst with a strong mathematics or physics foundation to optimise the performance of renewable energy assets.
Develop and apply models to predict supply depth, market pricing, and optimal asset usage via linear programming.
Model the GB electricity system to forecast system constraints and inform forward-looking decisions.
Capture dynamics across wholesale, Balancing Services, and Balancing Mechanism markets to craft asset optimisation strategies.
Incorporate real-time performance, utilization, and machine state parameters to progressively deepen optimisation.
Candidates should have a first-principles problem solving approach and proficiency in Python, SQL, and time-series analysis.
