The role
Part-Time Nonprofit Compliance Officer ensures adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Develops, implements, and maintains compliance programs tailored to nonprofit operations.
Monitors federal, state, and local regulatory changes and advises leadership on required actions; conducts audits and risk assessments.
Collaborates with HR and program teams to ensure proper documentation, reporting, and record-keeping.
Investigates compliance concerns, incidents, or potential violations and recommends corrective actions; provides training on ethics and regulatory responsibilities.
Supports grant reporting and prepares compliance reports for executive leadership.
