The role
Manage inventory and maintain stock levels for medical supplies and equipment in a healthcare facility.
Receive, inspect, label, and store items; ensure proper rotation, accuracy, and timely restocking across departments.
Maintain accurate inventory records in the materials management software and generate reports on usage and trends.
Coordinate with department heads and suppliers to meet specific inventory needs and place purchase orders as needed.
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety regulations, recalls, and hazardous materials handling; support training.
Assist with disaster preparedness by maintaining contingency stock and supporting regulatory requirements.
