The role
A global leader in energy and environmental services seeks a Legal Counsel or Senior Legal Counsel to join their in-house legal team supporting the Places & Communities Division. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction and refurbishment contracts such as JCT and NEC, advising on tenders, project variations, and operational matters, and collaborating with internal teams and external counsel on strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a UK-qualified solicitor or barrister with 4 to 10 years of PQE, possessing strong knowledge of UK construction law and industry-standard contracts, with public procurement experience as a plus. They should demonstrate a proactive, solutions-oriented approach and possess excellent stakeholder engagement skills in a collaborative environment.
