The role
Lead data-driven inventory planning for imported and local suppliers to ensure the right items are in stock at the right time.
Build and refine demand forecasts using historical sales, seasonality, promotions, and price elasticity with time-series and regression techniques.
Develop inventory health dashboards (in-stock %, weeks of cover, CRaP risk) and perform root-cause analyses using SQL and BI tools.
Track vendor performance metrics (OTIF, fill rate, ASN accuracy); design scorecards and automated alerts to drive improvements.
Partner with cross-functional teams to balance lead times, capacity, and budget; translate data insights into actions for promotions and new product selections.
Drive process automation and explore ML opportunities in replenishment and demand planning; present insights in weekly/monthly reviews to influence decisions.
