The role
The legal counsel will collaborate with senior legal staff to draft and review supply chain and licensing agreements crucial to the company's industrialisation efforts. They will provide legal guidance to internal teams on contractual issues, risk mitigation, and compliance with regulations. The role involves working cross-functionally with supply chain, procurement, and engineering teams to align contract terms with business goals, negotiate favourable terms, and resolve legal disputes efficiently. Drafting legal documents, policies, and reviewing contracts are core responsibilities, along with conducting legal research and summarising key contractual risks. Candidates should be confident, pragmatic lawyers with strong drafting skills, UK solicitor qualification, and experience in manufacturing or production are advantageous.
