The role
Prepare bids by reviewing construction documents and defining project scope for landscape and general construction work.
Conduct takeoffs and input data into spreadsheets to accurately calculate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Solicit and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors to develop competitive, comprehensive estimates.
Create cost analyses and detailed estimates for installation projects, identifying risks and potential savings.
Attend meetings as required to align estimates with project goals and client needs; maintain meticulous documentation.
Demonstrate proficiency with estimating software and advanced Excel; strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
