The role
A Junior Environmental Engineer or Scientist is responsible for supporting air dispersion modelling, acoustics, noise, and vibration assessments for environmental projects in Kitchener. The role involves compiling data, assisting with technical assessments, and preparing reports and technical memos with guidance. Candidates should have a relevant environmental science or engineering degree and up to three years of experience, preferably in consulting. Skills in modelling, GIS, AUTOCAD, and legislation are advantageous. The position requires good organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and participate in multidisciplinary teams. Flexibility to work remotely and travel to other offices as needed is expected.
