The role
Own and drive the ML Systems backend for multiple product teams, emphasizing efficiency, reliability, and scale.
Define and influence the infrastructure roadmap with Core Infra, translating ML requirements into concrete requests.
Unblock production blockers, troubleshoot cross-stack failures, and instrument systems to monitor and recover from instability.
Profile end-to-end pipelines, identify bottlenecks in data loading, and implement optimized C++ improvements where Python is a bottleneck.
Build robust tooling and automation to streamline the ML development inner loop, validation, and change management.
Create shims and wrappers to surface new Core Infra features in the ML stack, enabling faster iteration while preserving platform integrity.
