The role
The management accountant is responsible for preparing accurate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, including management accounts and financial insights. The role involves managing variance analysis, KPI reporting, and supporting decision-making processes through detailed financial analysis. Key tasks include maintaining the general ledger, accruals, journals, and overseeing areas such as stock control and capital expenditure. The ideal candidate will be part-qualified in ACCA or CIMA and possess strong Excel skills, with experience in financial reporting and analysis. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach are essential for collaborating effectively with stakeholders to enhance business performance.
