The role
A senior environmental interface engineer supports the development and licensing of nuclear technology by providing environmental assessments, advice, and technical documentation. The role involves developing environmental and decommissioning design principles, reviewing engineering documents, and participating in workshops to support design justifications ensuring best available techniques and ALARP principles. The engineer will produce environmental chapters for safety cases, engage with stakeholders, and support regulatory interactions.
