The role
Trafford Leisure seeks a passionate inclusive exercise instructor to facilitate chair-based and light, game-based activities for adults with learning and physical disabilities. The role involves adapting activities to diverse abilities, ensuring safety, and fostering enjoyment and participation. The instructor must communicate effectively with participants, carers, and support staff, maintaining an inclusive and positive environment. Experience in delivering chair-based exercises, strong communication skills, and relevant fitness qualifications are required, alongside public liability insurance and an enhanced DBS check. Support and guidance will be provided through local partnerships, with ongoing professional development available to suitable candidates.
