The role

An experienced export control and compliance officer is sought to provide practical advice within a complex engineering environment. The role involves advising senior stakeholders, managing compliance with UK export legislation, and working with technical teams. Knowledge of UK export laws, licensing, sanctions, and experience with defence or aerospace sectors are essential. The candidate should be familiar with ITAR/EAR, LITE or SPIRE systems, and managing export licences and sanctions screening. Responsibilities include developing policies, conducting audits, and supporting ethics and due diligence activities. Security clearance or clearability is required, with flexible, hybrid working options available.
