The role
A healthcare organisation in Bournemouth seeks an experienced healthcare lawyer to join its Clinical Legal Services team on an interim basis, delivering legal support across claims, inquests, healthcare law, and risk management. The role involves managing a caseload of inquests, representing the organisation at court hearings, advising on consent and capacity issues, and supporting clinical staff with legal matters. Candidates should be qualified solicitors, barristers, or legal professionals with at least three years' experience in healthcare law, and possess strong stakeholder management skills. Experience in managing claims, inquests, and healthcare law, along with court representation, is essential, with additional leadership experience advantageous.
