The role
The Logistics Coordinator manages the coordination of logistics functions across the business, including warehousing, stock control, and shipment of finished goods internationally. They liaise with freight forwarders and couriers to organise shipments from factories to warehouses, ensuring stock accuracy and managing variances. The role involves creating production orders based on sales forecasts, generating ASN for inbound shipments, and maintaining inventory control across multiple locations. Responsibilities include handling shipping documentation, resolving inventory discrepancies, and supporting special projects and market flows. The candidate must possess strong organisational skills, experience with international freight and customs, and proficiency in ERP and Excel. Understanding of shipping paperwork, customs requirements, and supply chain processes are essential to optimise operational efficiency in this dynamic environment.
