The role
A physiotherapist with at least three years' experience can work as a PIP assessor in Glasgow, conducting face-to-face interviews with claimants and documenting health conditions for review. The role involves assessing individuals either in assessment centres or their homes using NHS-like paperwork familiar to those with hospital or community experience. Full-time hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, with public holidays off, and comprehensive training is provided on a residential two-week course along with ongoing support.
