The role

The Industrial Engineering Intern will support the engineering and site teams at a U.S. manufacturing facility in Winchester, Tennessee. The role focuses on project identification, scoping, and execution across continuous improvement, capital projects, safety enhancements, automation, debottlenecking, and capacity utilization. Responsibilities include defining project scope and creating documented project plans; performing time studies and ergonomic assessments; assisting with plant layout, material handling, and process troubleshooting; and developing documents, drawings, and training materials to support project completion. The position emphasizes hands-on, cross-functional collaboration and exposure to practical engineering challenges. Ideal candidates are actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related fields and demonstrate strong ethics, accountability, reliability, professionalism, safety awareness, curiosity, and problem-solving abilities. This is an on-site internship with opportunities to contribute to safety, quality, and efficiency improvements.
